When I click on “Take Exam”, nothing seems to happen. How can I access my exam?
This is generally an issue with the pop-up blocker setting on your computer. A pop-up is a new screen, or window, that appears when you click on a link. A pop-up blocker is what blocks the new screen, or pop-up, from opening. The pop-up blocker needs to be turned off in order to access the exam. For Internet Explorer, click on “Tools” which is located at the top of your internet screen and then place your mouse on “Pop-up Blocker.” If “Turn Off Pop-up Blocker” appears, click on “Turn Off Pop-up Blocker” in order to proceed. If you are using anything other than Internet Explorer, you will need to contact your help desk for further instructions to turn off your pop-up blocker.
Can I exit a course or exam before I’m finished?
Once you have ordered a course, you can work through the course study material at your leisure. If you leave the course material, you are able to log back in at any time and return to the page where you left off. For all courses except courses that offer CE for Minnesota, you are able to exit exams at any point and, upon logging back in, return to the question where you left off. For courses that offer CE for Minnesota, you are not able to exit and then re-enter any end-of-course closed-book exam; the exam must be completed in-full or you would need to start over with a new version of the exam.
How long does it take to complete the courses?
The amount of time it takes to complete a course or exam can vary depending upon each course and each individual taking the course.
Why do I keep receiving a message that says I’ve been idle too long, even though I’ve logged out and then logged back in?
Due to the variety of settings available on different computers, information is sometimes “cached” preventing the system from showing the most recent information. To correct this issue, follow these steps:
- Close all browser windows, including those that are not associated with the RegEd site.
- Open one new browser window, click on Tools at the top of the browser and select Internet Options.
- In the box that appears, under General Settings, click on the Settings button beneath Temporary Internet Files.
- Under “Check for newer versions of stored pages,” make sure the option for “Every visit to the page” is marked.
- Click OK in both boxes, and then log back into the website.
How many credits do I need to take?
The number of credits you are required to take can vary from state to state and are dependent upon the license(s) that you hold. For information on your license requirements, please contact the state(s) in which you hold active licenses.
Can I receive CE credit after I have enrolled in or completed a course?
Depending upon your state rules, you may be able to receive credit for courses that you have already ordered, or even completed. You will be required to complete a Request for Certificate of Completion and provide an affidavit, if required by your state. NOTE: you will not be able to receive credit for a course if you completed the course before it was approved by a state or professional designation board. Click here to visit our CE section.
Where can I get a copy of my certificate of Insurance CE credit for a completed course?
Please allow up to two weeks to process your certificate. After August 17th 2021 RegEd will no longer support Internet Explorer 11:
Why is RegEd ending support of IE 11? RegEd continually strives to provide an exemplary experience and security for our partner firms. Because of the following reasons we are discontinuing IE 11 support:
- Security: Microsoft will no longer provide any security updates to IE.
- Updates: Since 2015, with the release of Edge, Microsoft has not provided meaningful updates to IE. All feature enhancements will stop for IE on August 17th.
- Performance: IE 11’s antiquated infrastructure reduces overall performance for our end users.
After August 17th will I be able to access RegEd solutions on IE 11? You will still technically be able to access RegEd solutions. However, after August 17, 2021 certain features may not work nor will bugs or cosmetic issues be resolved if they specifically affect IE 11. If you haven’t already, please work with your IT department to upgrade to one of the following popular & supported browsers:
To View PDF files:
- Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.01+
To Fully Experience multi-media courses and content:
