CLIENT PROFILE

With more than $200 billion in assets, the client is one of the nation’s largest providers of insurance, banking, and investment solutions. It has 14,000 captive licensees and registrants among its 48,000 producers and onboards 3,200 producers a year. All told, it has almost 400,000 licenses under management.

PRIOR SITUATION

The client used another licensing and appointment solution before engaging RegEd. The previous solution required the client to manually upload licensing information to the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR). This became more difficult as the client rapidly grew. Onboarding producers was also increasingly hard. Paper-intensive processes slowed the onboarding of large groups of applicants.

The client wanted to streamline licensing and onboarding, by integrating systems and automating processes. It also wanted to speed appointments and license renewals so that producers could sell sooner and avoid interruptions.
