RegEd Showcases AI-Powered Innovation Across Core Compliance Processes at Engage 2026

Record attendance and new capabilities powered by Eddie highlight RegEd’s annual client conference in Fort Lauderdale, FL

RegEd, the leading provider of compliance solutions for financial services firms, recently hosted its 13th annual client conference, RegEd Engage, held April 15–17, 2026 at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

RegEd Engage brought together a record number of attendees, including compliance and operations professionals from many of the nation’s leading financial services firms, for three days of collaboration, education, and strategic insight. The conference is uniquely shaped by direct client input, ensuring sessions focus on the most pressing regulatory challenges, operational priorities, and opportunities for innovation across the industry.

This year’s event featured a dynamic lineup of industry luminaries, regulatory perspectives, and interactive client and product panels designed to share real-world experiences and best practices. Attendees gained actionable insights to help maximize the value of their RegEd partnership while staying ahead of an evolving regulatory landscape.

A central theme of the 2026 conference was the growing role of artificial intelligence and innovation in compliance and operations. RegEd showcased its continued investment in advanced technology and intelligence automation, including Eddie, its AI-powered virtual compliance assistant designed to help compliance professionals access regulatory guidance, streamline workflows, and make more informed decisions in real time. Sessions explored how firms are beginning to operationalize AI to reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and enhance supervisory oversight – while maintaining the governance and control required in highly regulated environments.

As part of this focus, RegEd announced some major innovations, powered by Eddie, during the conference, including:

  • Branch Examiner AssistantSM: This new AI-powered capability is embedded within RegEd’s Audit Management platform and delivers real-time regulatory guidance, aligns examinations with firm-specific policies, and enables faster, more confident branch inspections.
  • AI Compliance PreCheckSM: By embedding AI-driven compliance intelligence earlier in the advertising content lifecycle, Precheck enables submitters to quickly identify potentially problematic language, validate required disclosures, and receive AI-driven revision suggestions before materials are formally submitted for compliance review.
  • Smart Licensing: The industry’s first automated solution for initial nonresident licensing of both producers and adjusters. Using customer-defined business rules based on factors such as title, region, and cost center, Smart Licensing automatically determines when and where non-resident licenses should be obtained - without human intervention.
  • RegEd Regulatory Chatbot: Eddie, the RegEd Virtual Compliance Assistant, gives registered reps, producers, advisors, and staff instant, compliant answers to regulatory and firm-specific policy questions – reducing risk, boosting productivity, and improving the user experience.

A highlight of the 2026 conference was the introduction of a dedicated technology track, led by RegEd’s in-house technology experts. These sessions provided deeper visibility into the company’s innovation roadmap, product architecture, and emerging capabilities, equipping clients with the knowledge needed to better leverage RegEd solutions and drive operational efficiency.

“RegEd Engage continues to be an invaluable forum for collaboration between our clients, industry leaders, and our own experts,” said Frank Brienzi, CEO at RegEd. “By bringing together diverse perspectives and focusing on real-world challenges, we help firms not only navigate regulatory complexity, but also uncover new opportunities for growth and transformation.”

Throughout the event, attendees participated in interactive discussions, networking opportunities, and hands-on sessions designed to foster knowledge sharing and strengthen partnerships across the RegEd client community.

RegEd remains committed to empowering financial services organizations with the technology, insights, and expertise needed to meet regulatory demands while enhancing business performance.
